Rowcliffe Holidays in Devon

About Rowcliffe Holidays

Rowcliffe Holidays is a small family run business, by two sisters Sallie and Vicki. Rowcliffe Holidays began over 60 years ago by their Grandmother; Mildred Yeo and her husband Bert Yeo. Following this, it was then managed by their mum Elizabeth, who, if you’ve been staying with us for a long time you will remember and know how passionate she was about Rowcliffe and her love for Mortehoe.

Since 2017, Sallie and Vicki have taken on the day to day running, managing and cleaning of Rowcliffe and take great pride in what they offer. They aim to greet you upon your arrival to stay at Rowcliffe, show you around and you can ask any last minute questions you may have.

During your stay you may also see Paul, he is the builder/gardener/general maintenance man, with a good sense of humour! He has managed the latest renovations and projects, keeps the garden looking lovely and is on hand to help with any of the practical.

Delightfully situated on high ground overlooking the famous Woolacombe Sands, a three mile stretch of firm golden sands, ideal for riding, surfing and bathing. Surrounded by acres of National Trust property, the coastal scenery at Mortehoe is unrivalled.

Innumerable small rocky coves await exploration, and a safe bathing beach can be reached in a short walk across the cliff downs.

The village of Mortehoe is small, compact and self contained, with its 13th century church, village stores and pub. For entertainment, the larger resort of Ilfracombe is only seven miles away and is connected with Mortehoe by a good service of buses
